Professional Mixing & Mastering

Mixing is like preparing a meal. It’s processing the ingredients, adding spices and seasoning, balancing the proportions.

Our mixing service includes:

* Editing (including audio quantising)
* EQ
* Compression (normal, parallel and multi-band)
* Saturation
* Effects (reverb, delay, chorus etc)
* Side chaining
* Vocal tuning

For the final mixdown we pass everything through our Thermionic Culture Little Red Bustard valve summing mixer, breathing life and warmth into your mixes.

Mastering is included in our mix service, please visit our mastering page for more info.

Mixing sessions can be attended at TAD Studios in Bicester, or you can leave it up to us and we can send you mix versions for approval.

We offer unlimited revisions, which means you can make as many changes as you like until you’re happy.

For online (unattended) mixing there are three tiers to choose from, see below for the various mix packages:

If you would like to book some unattended mixing online, choose one of the packages above.

If you would like to book an attended session at TAD Studios, please contact us to arrange times (standard rate is £30 an hour).

We offer a free mp3 sample mix for first time customers, request here.

Notes for file submission:

* Each package comes with a limited number of stems (channels). For example, for a basic mix of an acoustic song with vocals and 10 channels, choose the basic package.
* Please submit stems in WAV or AIFF format, minimum 44.1kHz and 24 bit.
* Stems should be exported from your software from beginning to end of the song, so they all line up when imported (for an explanation on how to do this, please visit this link).
* Ideally there should only be one instrument/mic/vocal etc per stem.
* Please label stems appropriately.
